Simply plug the 9-ft cord into any standard AC outlet. When smoke is detected, the bright 177 candela strobe will flash along with a loud 90 dB horn. If you cannot hear the loud horn, you can SEE the ultra-powerful strobe light. UL Approved to wake a person from a sound sleep when placed in the person's sleeping room.
